Jarvis helped homeowners design a new upstairs pied-à-terre as an addition to their existing home, whose intimate scale and distinctly Southwestern flair fit their sensibility and their needs. They wanted to pare down in size, but build up to capture views, light and spaciousness.  The focal point of the addition is a large living room with soaring vaulted ceilings, the drama heightened by custom wooden beams.  A study, kitchen, powder room, and bedroom with en suite bath and laundry completed the scope.  Wrought iron fixtures and warm woods imbue this Rockridge retreat with a rustic, sumptuous air.
